my story

I am a registered holistic nutritionist, doula, reiki practitioner and mother of two with a special interest in supporting women in their childbearing years and infants & children. I offer support and education to empower living your unique, sweet and healthy life for today while also mindfully and lovingly nurturing the future. My support as a holistic nutritionist goes beyond the food ingested and incorporates the person as a whole, physical and spiritual being. Each person and lifestyle is recognized as unique and special.

My passion for holistic health and wellness likely stems from my upbringing. My mother has always been into natural living and alternative approaches to health and wellness....the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree ;)

being loved begins with loving ourselves and

tapping into the power of our innate wisdom.

love love, raise love, be loved.

After going through my own health issues as a young adult, I experimented endlessly with different ways to heal naturally. I tried numerous diet programs and cleanses and was relentlessly on the hunt for more information (something very typical of me, I love to learn).

After graduating from SFU I knew I wanted to further my studies in some type of holistic health modality. Finally, I decided that nutrition was where I wanted to focus my energy. During the nutrition program, I found myself most intrigued and passionate in learning about pregnancy, infancy and childhood (perhaps because I was pregnant at the time??) and how to, why we and what will optimally nourish the body during these times. It seemed a natural fit to focus on this area in my practice.

**I am trained and open to working with all people however I have a special interest in supporting families (fertility, pregnancy, post partum, babies & children).

Although, I have healed myself in many ways, I am still on my own health journey. I strive for balance and personal, emotional and spiritual growth every day. I understand that this process can be challenging, yet beyond rewarding, it can be frustrating with moments of pure joy, and restrictive while at the same time liberating. Most importantly I have learned that sustainable changes happen when there is openness and readiness to make them...no matter how small you may think the change may be.

Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up

being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must but take

the step.

There is an overwhelming amount of accessible information (often times conflicting) and part of my job is to help make sense of it in a way that is focused, practical and resonates with you and your unique goals and lifestyle. My support and guidance comes from continual education, passion, experience and love.

Being blessed with children has been one of the greatest gifts on my human experience. It has forever changed me and left me vulnerable in a beautifully unexplained way. What a responsibility and joy it is to be blessed with the opportunity to help guide and nurture a piece of the future. Giving our children the best possible start in life sets them up for a healthy, balanced, and happy life. I want to help support you on this incredible journey and empower you to trust your innate wisdom. Contact me to being your journey.
